today i dragged myself out of bed to put down the blinds in the room my brother was sleeping in, only to have the crack between both blinds end up right on my pillow and i couldn't sleep instead.

Today I overheard my sister's jerk boyfriend telling her that after his haircut he is going to look ten times better. My little brother then popped out of nowhere and said, "ten times zero is still a zero". MLIA.

Today, in a maths lesson we were learning algebra and someone asked the teacher "why do we learn this? when will we ever have to find X in real life?" Without even thinking she replied "if you end up as a pirate" New favourite teacher. MLIA

when i was 7, i'd think what would it be like to be 12. it'd be 5 more years later.

5 more years later, i'd think what would it be like to be 15 or 16. then i'd think about those who were 17 and think, that's how life'll be in another 5 years. i'd count the years and realise it'd be 2008 when i'd be 16. i'd think would i really know all that knowledge to take o levels. so hard to believe i would have learnt all that in 4 years.

and ohmygoodnessgraciousme, next year we're all 18 and taking bloody A levels.
